Day 01 Arrive in Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai. Our representative will meet and
assist you at the main arrival lounge. Later transfer to
your hotel.
Day 02 Mumbai – Goa [By Flight]
Breakfast at hotel and visit Mumbai city. Gateway of
India - The stone archway designed by Wittett in the
16th century Gujarati style. Elephanta Caves - 9 kms by
sea. These 7th century rock - cut cave temples dedicated
to Lord Shiva are situated a top a hill on the island.
Return to Mumbai and transfer to airport to board the
flight for Goa. Arrive in Goa and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel in Goa.
Day 03 Goa
Full day at leisure for own activities and to relax at
the beach. Overnight stay in Goa
Day 04 Goa – Bangalore [By
Flight]
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport to board the
flight for Bangalore. Arrive and check in to the hotel.
Later visit the “city of gardens” First of all visit
Vidhan Sabha, Nandi Temple . One of the oldest temples,
popularly known as the Bull temple. Overnight at the
hotel in Bangalore.
Day 05 Bangalore – Mysore [140
KM / 3 hours]
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Mysore. En route
visiting Srirangapatnam, capital of the warrior – King
Hyder Ali & his son Tipu Sultan, has magnificent
monuments that are well worth a visit. Continue drive to
Mysore. Arrive at Mysore and check in to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel in Mysore.
Day 06 Mysore
Breakfast at hotel and visit Mysore. Mysore sight-seeing
covering Mysore st. Philomena’s Church, Chamundi Hill,
Bull, Zoo, Maharaja’s Palace and Art Gallery. Overnight
at the hotel in Mysore.
Day 07 Mysore – Ooty [155 KM /
3 hours]
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Ooty. Arrive at Ooty and
check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.
Day 08 Ooty – Coonoor - Ooty
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the local tour of
Ooty. Visit the Ooty Lake, the botanical garden, etc.
Later on proceed to Coonoor and visit Coonoor. Evening
return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 09 Ooty – Cochin [280 KM /
6 hours]
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Cochin. Arrive in Cochin
late afternoon and check in to the hotel. Later in the
evening see the Kathakkali dance show. Overnight at the
hotel in Cochin.
Day 10 Cochin –
Alleppey – Kumarakom [60 KM / 1 hour – Backwater cruise
till Kumarakom]
After breakfast visit of Cochin including The Dutch
Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals
depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue
at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The
St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India.
In the afternoon depart to Alleppey. On arrival check in
to traditional Kerala house boat for a cruise, which is
totally a delightful experience. Cruise through the palm
fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk;
relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind & waves. This
mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with
endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its
charm. Freshly cooked local food is served onboard.
Dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 11 Kumarakom – Munnar [200
KM / 5 hour]
Breakfast at houseboat and then check out from the
houseboat. Your houseboat will drop you at Kumarakom.
Directly drive to Munnar. Arrive and check in to the
hotel in Munnar. Evening free at leisure.
Day 12 Munnar – Madurai [165 /
4 hour]
Breakfast at the hotel and visit Munnar – Kerala’s tea
garden hill station. Pproceed to visit Tea Museum and
Tea Garden and other attractions. Later drive to
Madurai. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Evening
attend worship ceremony at Meenakshi temple. Overnight
at the hotel in Madurai.
Day 13 Madurai – Trichy –
Tanjore [ 200 KM / 4 hours]
Breakfast at the hotel and visit Madurai. Visit
Meenakshi temple, which is 1000 pillared Hall carrying
some beautiful sculptures of the seventeenth Century.
Also visit Tirumala Nayak Palace. This Palace was built
in 1636 by King Thirumalai Nayak with the help of an
Italian Architect. The building we see today was the
main Palace where the King lived. The original Palace
Complex was four times bigger than the present
structure. This palace consisted mainly of two parts,
namely Swargavilasa and Rangavilasa. After the visit
drive towards Trichy. Arrive and visit Srirangam Vishnu
temple. It has 21 gopurmas (towers); one of the gopurma
is 73 meters, highest in India. Continue drive towards
Tanjore. Arrive in Tanjore and check in to the hotel.
Day 14 Tanjore – Darasuram –
Pondicherry [180 KM / 4 hours]
Breakfast at hotel and visit Brideshwarar Shiva Temple
at Tanjore, built by King Raja Rajan from the year 985
AD - 1010 AD. This is one of the superb temple
architects of the Chola dynasty. Later visit Raja Rajan
art gallery to see bronze statures of 9th-16th century.
Later drive towards Darasuram. Visit Darasuram. The
temple of Airavatesvara in Darasuram, is one of the 4
biggest temples erected by the Cola Dynasty with those
of Tanjore, Gangaikondacolapuram and Tribhuvanam. The
temple is a world heritage list of the UNESCO in 2004.
Continue drive towards Pondicherry. Arrive at hotel and
check in. Overnight in Pondicherry.
Day 15 Pondicherry –
Mahabalipuram [100 KM / 2 hours]
Breakfast at hotel and visit the city and Sri Aurobindo
Ashram the serene world of distinct spiritual vibration
and thus renowned as Sacred Land. Later drive to
Mahabalipuram. Arrive and visit Visit the 7th-century
Shore temple which is surrounded by lush gardens. Later
visit the 7th- century Five Rathas. Overnight at hotel
in Mahabalipuram.
Day 16 Mahabalipuram – Chennai
– Abroad [80 KM / 2 hour]
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Chennai. Arrive and
visit Chennai city. First of all visit the Museum to see
the art and bronze gallery. Drive through the Flower &
Fruit Market, High Court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach,
Sant Thomas cathedral. Late in the evening transfer to
airport to board the flight to you home country.
